Heather Goulart

Audiology Assistant

Heather has been passionate about American Sign Language since childhood, learning to sign before speaking. This early exposure deepened with the formation of an ASL club in high school alongside a deaf classmate. Pursuing this interest, she earned a degree in American Sign Language interpretation, graduating in May 2024 and becoming a certified ASL Interpreter in Virginia but seeking to be closer to family and friends, she relocated to Oklahoma. With extensive experience in Deaf and Hard of Hearing programs and working with Deaf children in school systems, Heather is dedicated to enhancing access to language and communication for individuals with hearing loss. Outside of work, she enjoys gaming and reading, often spending quality time with her husband and dog.
